President for The Scandinavian Vibration Society

Ole Doessing, Technical Director of Rovsing Dynamics, was selected president for the The Scandinavian Vibration Society for 2007

At its annual assembly in November 2006, the The Scandinavian Vibration Society selected Ole Doessing, Technical Director of Rovsing Dynamics, as president for the coming year. Mr. Doessing is an acknowledged expert within the field of structural dynamics, signal processing and machine dynamics. More information about the association on www.svib.se.

“I am pleased to accept the position as president of the The Scandinavian Vibration Society”, says Ole Døssing. “As a senior engineer, member of the association for more than 20 years and serving as vice president the last five years, I see it as my duty to contribute to the further development of our association, and to ensure the fruitful exchange of know-how among specialists, users, academics, and system and service providers. One of my key objectives will be to encourage the younger generation of engineers to engage themselves in the art and science of solving dynamic problems. Another one is to increase senior engineers’ and industrial managers’ engagement and active participation in our network, where every participant may benefit from the presented knowledge and personal relations.”

The annual assembly took place in connection with the Joint Baltic-Nordic Acoustics Meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden, where Rovsing Dynamics presented two papers:

• Integrating and combining every information carrying parameter in condition monitoring
  Condition and performance monitoring of turbo machinery by thermodynamic modeling
